I’m feeling so great truly following the Every Other Day Diet – Lifestyle Plan again. I was really out of my routine for awhile but I’m right back on track now.
The Fit Chic
The first thing I did this morning was interval training for cardio and then I did my workout from The Fit Chic Year of Workouts. I was done both routines in 30 minutes. What a start to my day! I love that! My kids were great and were actually doing some jumping jacks and skipping with me! It was hilarious.

As I said before, you too will feel times when you are ‘in the groove’ of eating well and exercising. Then a day will come where you become ill or someone else is ill and it throws off your routine. The important thing to remember when this happens is to treat yourself the best that you can. What I mean by this is to feed yourself the best that you can. I know you may just want cold foods for a sore throat but instead of grabbing for ice cream all day, try different Popsicles. They are a much wiser choice for your waistline.

Also, exercise the best that you can. You may have very little energy but sometimes just going through the motions of exercise will make you ‘feel’ better and this feeling is powerful.

This happened to me when I was just sick. I had absolutely no energy at all. I felt horrible. However, I grabbed the stability ball and just started to roll on it for a few exercises. I could not do much but I commented to Scott afterward at how much better I felt. It put me in a better ‘frame of mind.’

I’m sure most of you have heard about the mind and body connection and how powerful it is. It is extremely important to understand the power it has because our thoughts and feelings really do affect how we live our lives each day.
