Every Other Day Diet Extreme Plan-Day-6

My energy is higher than ever at the end of Day 6 of the Every Other Day Diet Extreme Plan. I didn’t get in my cardio like I was planning, but I did complete an intense 20 minute shoulder and abdominal training session.

Most people are surprise to hear that I only train abs for 5-10 minutes once per week. One of the big common mistakes that I see people make is training their abs directly several times each week and sometimes even every single day. This is absolutely not necessary and doing 1000 sit-ups each day will do you more harm than good.
I get a lot o my abdominal training when I do the exercises for the other body parts that I train. What you need in order to get outstanding abs is a great nutrition program like The Every Other Day Diet, intense workouts for your entire body, and a cardio component as well. Doing sit-ups is not the answer.
I slipped up a bit today and consumed a few too many starchy carbs and the only vegetables that I ate were at breakfast with my eggs. My body sure lets me know when I don’t eat enough veggies. I definitely feel a bit more bloated at the end of the day.
That’s one of the wonderful things that the Every Other Day Diet Plan has done for me. I’ve become way more in-tune with my body. I’m not so stuck on eating every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I listen to it and I can clearly distinguish between hunger and thirst… or just boredom.
To be honest with you I feel like I’ve let you down a bit this first week on the Every Other Day Diet Extreme Plan because I haven’t followed it to a T. I had that one major slip up on the weekend and today I ate a few too many starchy carbs.
The great news though is that I see my body changing and I’m sure that even with the slip ups I know that I’m ahead in the overall game.
I still don’t feel like I’m on a diet. I’m not hungry, I have no cravings (other than when I was sick for 24 hours), and my energy is outrageous. And this is the EXTREME Plan. The Primer and Lifestyle plans must be a cake walk… pardon the expression
It felt great to work my abs today with 5 pounds less fat hanging on them. I totally noticed a difference in performing the exercise. It was really frickin cool.
I can’t wait to see what happens when I start incorporating cardio and really get rolling with The Fit Bastard workout fat burning phase.

Hey Scott!
I’ve been following your journey with the Every Other Day Diet. It’s definitely something I may look into in the future. Right now I’m very happy with the program I’m on, hehehe. If it’s not broke I”m not fixing it.
The reason for my comment is this. You are one of the most amazing people that I have ever met. You are motivated, commited, inspiring, and a very caring person. But, do me a favor and follow your own advice. While everyone loves keeping up with your journey on this program in your heart you are on this program to meet your goals for you. Feeling like you let us down because gee imagine you are human and you had a small slip up is a negative feeling. Since we’ve now accepted that you are human, look at it like this. With any program it is a learning experience. You slipped up, but it didn’t hold you back. You gathered knowledge from it, moved on, and used that knowledge to help yourself achieve your dream body.
When I read your post everyday, I’m not thinking about your slip up. I’m thinking about how proud it makes me to know that I am learning from a man that can teach me so much. Everyone that follows any of your programs has learned so many things to help them achieve their dream body. I have learned that my negative thoughts hinder my progress. That excuses are not allowed and I don’t need them as a crutch. I’ve learned that a new lifestyle teaches me how to listen to and learn from my boday. But, most of all I’ve learned that I hold the key to achieving the body of my dreams and I will have that dream.
You are on the road to success my friend. Stop looking behind you at the idea that you let anyone down and look ahead to the wonderful things in your future.
