After watching the inspirational movie “The Astronaut Farmer” staring Billy Bob Thorton, I instantly began to think of how the powerful message that comes across so clear in the movie can apply directly to the success of your fat loss program. What is this powerful message that will literally take the success of your weight loss program to an entirely new level?

Fat Loss Lessons From The Astronaut Farmer

When you have a dream or a goal that you are incredibly passionate about, do not let anyone shoot that dream down and discourage you from fulfilling it and making it a reality.

You hold the key to the gateway of your mind. You decide what thoughts are allowed in and which ones have absolutely no right at all setting foot inside your little piece of paradise.

Believe in yourself. That’s all that matters!

When you believe in yourself and your dreams of having a lean and sexy body, there will be people who will see that passion and it will inspire them. Your passion may actually shift their way of thinking and have them believing in you. Before you know it, there will be an entire army supporting you.

But it all starts with YOU!

Here’s a short clip from the movie “The Astronaut Farmer”. This to the powerful words:

How many times have we heard those powerful words from the mouth of John F. Kennedy, “I HAVE A DREAM!”

Was that a man who was going to let anything get in the way and prevent him from reaching his goals?

When YOU have a dream to lose weight and look the absolute best that you can, it’s up to you to build up the significance of it. It’s up to you to put all your faith behind it.

All to often people have a dream and they are afraid to announce it to the world. If your fat loss goal is worthy of accomplishing, then let the world hear it no matter what they may think.

If a goal is worth dreaming about, it’s worth fulfilling.

There’s a great line in the movie and you can hear it in the trailer above. Billy Bob Thornton’s character’s father says, “You are one fabulous father. You’ve got your family dreaming together.”

Share your dreams with your family and encourage them to share their dreams with you. Acknowledge the significance of their goals.

Here’s another great line from the movie and the trailer above:

“When I was a kid they used to tell me that I could be anything that I wanted to be NO MATTER WHAT. Somewhere along the line we stopped believing that we can do anything.”

In my opinion, we’ve stopped believing that we can do anything because we are afraid of failing. We’ve failed in the past and it hurts. Sometimes we’ve been teased because of it. The reason why it hurts is because we are concerned about what others are going to think about us.

But what do you think about yourself? Are you a quitter? Are you a failure? HELL NO! Why? Because when you pick yourself up off the ground and take another crack at that goal, that may very well be the time that you accomplish it.

There’s a point in the movie where he actually fails and at that moment he lets all those words from everyone in his little town enter into his mind. He not only doubts that it will ever happen, but he totally gives up.

Until…

His supporting wife gives him the kick in the but that he needs and gets him to realize that the family is nothing without the pursuit of their dreams and goals.

My message to you is to pay attention to your dreams of having the attractive body that you desire. Know exactly what kind of weight loss goal you want to accomplish, write it down and tell the world. Put all of your faith behind it. If you are that passionate about your goal and you believe that it’s worthy of achieving then give it your all and don’t let anyone tell you that it will never happen.

I will leave you with this line from the movie:

“You better know what you want to do, before someone knows it for you.”

Your Dream Body Awaits You…
