For the December Unstoppable Fat Loss contest where I give away all my products; Unstoppable Fat Loss, The Fit Chic, and The Fit Bastard, all that you have to do is tell me what are the best ways that I can be of help to you in order to ensure that you reach your fat loss goals in 2008 and beyond.
Simply leave a comment on this post and tell me all the different things that you would like me to do to help drive you to fat loss success.
So far what I’m doing for my customers is creating their own personal blogs so they can document their journey and be held accountable along the way. I’ve also created a support community where we can share our goals, challenges, successes, encourage each other, watch information packed videos, listen to empowering audios, and much more.
Angie and I are documenting our daily fat loss journey. We are sharing with you exactly what we are doing to live an optimally healthy lifestyle. We want you to know what actually works for us and what we believe will work for you.
We’re going to be posting more workout videos and videos of our favorite healthy meals. I’ve got some other things in mind that I believe will really light the fire under your butt and drive you to fat loss success. But I want to hear what you want so I can serve you to the best of my abilities.
I also want to make this the most positive and empowering site on the net. We are surrounded by negativity. Every newspaper article, research study, and tv journalism reports information that holds 95% of the population down.
I want to create a place where you can come and be inspired. Rather than focusing on the 95% I want you to focus on the 5% of the population that’s overcoming great challenges and obstacles to achieve great success.
I want you to share even your smallest successes with me and everyone else here. Lets inspire the heck out of each other and celebrate every victory. I’m going to start sharing some of the beautiful emails that I receive from so many people who are making wonderful changes in their lives.
If we focus on these successes and celebrate every obstacle that’s been blasted through, it will provide great encouragement to those of us who are going through similar struggles.
If you’ve got something that you’re struggling with and you need some encouragement and support from all the fellow readers of the blog, just let me know. We’ll pick you up and get you on the path to permanent and long lasting fat loss.
I hope that you know by now that I’m here for you and 100% committed to your success. Let 2008 be the beginning of a lifelong commitment to growth. Becoming better each and every day.
That journey begins now. Start taking steps toward your goal at this very moment. Share your small successes, be grateful for your challenges, triumph over obstacles. Always remember that you are UNSTOPPABLE!
I look forward to reading through your comments. Have an amazing day!

Hi! procrastination and lack of access to equipment is MY biggest problem. so some short, but effective, do-at-home dumbbell/body weight workouts would be nice for 2008. have a great christmas and a happy new year! =)
Hi Scott,
In my line of work we celebrate the successes – no matter how small. We share what went right for the day and then pat each other on the back. This could be done in a forum or blog with a special online buddy trying to accomplish the same thing. Sometimes just going for 10 minutes without thinking about chocolate is a success so we take each other where ever we are in our progress and cheer for even the littlest improvements. Any setting that would serve that function would be great.
Have a great month!
I am 40 and really overweight. I have seriously gotten into my mind not to lose weight but to get healthier even if I don’t have that ripped look. I want the education of how to be fit. I have lost 10 pounds so far since Nov. I can now run 1.5 to 2 mins in 30 to 45 mins. I am learning to eat healthier. Drinking tons of water. I want to learn more on strength training. As a mother of 2, I am making time to go to the gym which I found that’s on my way home. But there are days that I can’t stay over 20 mins. I want something that my gym partner and I can do quickly so that we can sweat and go. I want to be able to say that I am a Fit Chic.
My problem is I get going and then I have a set back that is hard to recover from. I am a mom of three boys ages 18,6 and 1 and they keep me going. I find it hard to make time for myself and I really find it hard to motivate myself. I just turned 40 and I wonder deep down if it is too late to really get back that 20 year olds body I used to have. I need motivation, encouragement and people that wont judge me on what it is I would like to acomplish for myself. I need fast and effective workouts that I can do from home that can be done while the baby is sleeping. I need help with the whole changing the way I eat thing. I hear so many things about what is good and what is bad and eating certain foods at certain times and so on. I get very confused as to what it all means. I really want to make this change but I cant do it on my own and everyone around me seems to think I should just except the way I am…I DONT WANT TO!!! I dont want to look 40 or feel 40. Your site has been eye opening on things I never realized and I am hoping you can help me put this all in place. Thank you for being so down to earth and human. It is refreshing to have someone in it for the right reason and just the monitary reasons. Have a wonderful and special Christmas.
Sorry…the last part on my last post was to read not the monitary reasons.
Hi, Scott & Angie!
My husband & I are fellow Canadians (now living in Fla.) who really appreciate your style of reaching out in a human way to help us achieve our goals. How refreshing to have REAL people with 2 adorable kids who love to mug for the camera, a cat leaping across the floor, and laundry basket standing in the picture, instead of some unattainable guru. It helps a lot to see you guys actually doing the exercises in your own basement, and gives us hope that we will be able to achieve what you have. I am a rank beginner, and can’t even do one “real” pushup, so it would be a big help to me if you could tailor a series of exercise videos especially for us beginners. It seems as if it will take forever until I am even half as fit as you two, and I’m 61 y.o., so don’t have the energy I used to have, and it’s hard to keep up with your videos at this point. I get exhausted just watching Angie! But I admire and covet her great physique, and need quick & easy exercises to get me started on the right path. Wishing you and your family a beautiful Christmas, and every blessing in the New Year!
Hi fit couple! Since I really enjoy your products and newsletter and blog, there is hardly anything to come up with for improvement. But one little thing comes to mind and it is my specific problem that I could use some help with.
When trying to follow your advice on weightlifting I have no problem to get motivated and do it on a regular basis. However, I am aware, as you tell us, that when it comes to fatloss what you put in your mouth is far more important. Whenever I focus on nutrition, I get easily obsessed with healthy eating. Watching what I eat all the time is creating orthorexic features for me; since I eat healthy on a regular basis, watching nutrition for fat loss requires eating more healthy, becoming obsessed with trying to eat steamed halibut at eleven am, where I normally would eat a cracker. Can you please focus on how to eat healthy while not having to think about food all the time?
Hi Scott, I am a 51 year old woman who is hell bent on achieving her goal. I spent the large majority of my life overweight, you know the whole yo-yo thing when I finally decided enough is enough..I joined a gym at 49 and I have been going as much as possible..I went from a size 14 to a size 6-8..and I am please with the inches I have lost..what I would like from you is how to lose and tone…and thank you so much for all the gifts..you rock!
Hi Scott,
I’m considering a half marathon this year. I am currently 5′6”, 150lbs. I would like to tone up, build my strength, how can you help? I am a 51yr old female….today is my birthday!
Scott,
My wish for 2008 is for you to start an AUDIO version of FitChic and FitBastard. More and more authors are doing this with their own books. You are truly inspirational. I loved your Unstoppable fat loss audio series. I would love to be inspired -on the go- by listening to your other books. And you would catch the crowd that doesn’t enjoy actually reading a book but love to listen.
Merry Christmas Scott – The best item that I can use right now is as much informtion as possible on how to lose the ‘luv-handles’. I am a 57 year old male, 73 inches, 185 lbs. I have tried everything under the sun to get my waist slim, but nothing works. I can do 110 crunches, 70 sit-up and do cardio at least 4 times a week. I work out at least 30-45 minutes 4-6 days a week. I divide the weight training and cardio into two sessions, at least 5 hours apart.
HELP!!
Don’t need any new fitness programs. I have plenty of those. Don’t need any more gadgets – have plenty of them. I need effective, enjoyable, easy to travel with workouts on a dvd that are short, well cataloged, and easy to follow. For travelers many are tired at the end of the day and do not want to go into the fitness room and workout but with a dvd and borrowing a set of dumbbells from the hotel fitness room, you have your laptop and the floor in your room. would make it easy to stay the course in the morning and or night. I also need the access to having a blog for myself. I believe in others helping me stay accountable but I also am motivated by self accountability. A blog that would be easy to post on (I’ve tried developing one using what’s out there and I must not be techno savvy or something but I can never do it. If we had simple to use individual ones on your site, we could encourage each other as well as “steal” fitness ideas from each other.
Those are my two: Short (10 or so type workouts), catolged well on the dvd and easy access to establishing a blog and updating it daily.

Hi guys!
I had set out to get to 158 lbs today and 18% bodyfat. The starting point was November 12th at 172 lbs and 22.45% fat.
I achieved 158.4 lbs and 17.8% pretty darn close
The occasion?
I’m getting married this afternoon !!
Next goal is 149 lbs and 16.5% for my 49th birthday February 6th ‘08 and I know that it’s possible. Between the Fit Chick training program and EODD, I cannot fail!
For June 1st ‘08 – hubby’s birthday and the start of the pool season here in Montreal, 130 lbs with 15% fat or less.
The main ingredient to achieve this: motivation! Mind set! Focus and commitment! Belief in my ability to do this!
Hi, I would like help on staying focused and goal oriented. I live in the Boonies, have no workout-diet buddy. I do have a small home gym set up in the garage. So what is standing in my way, and keeping me from dropping 20 lbs and keeping it off?
I am a mom of three beautiful girls, all 4 and under, so my life is busy.
My challange is not the lack of knowledge or desire…it is a challange of systems. With being so busy, I fall apart with my actions when I get tired or overwehlmed. I need to work on my systems of day-to-day life that will help me be more successful. How can I “goof-proof” my day so I do my daily activities, and meal planning so it will make it easier for me to stick to my day to day plans to achieve my goals.
Prioritise, simplify, and organize! Some times I make it so difficult I freeze up and give up.

My biggest problems is knowing/understanding recovery time. I’m very motivate and stubborn, so will workout to overtrain, diet to starving, etc. I have dedicated myself to finding a life style that works – but that includes taking time off the gym, resting and recovery. Now that I’m 43, I find it’s really hard. All the encouragement is awesome, but runs counter when I’m exhausted and fumbling through my workouts.
I used to be motivated. I used to get up at 5am, exercise, eat 6 healthy meals a day. I used to be healthy and stress free. I had restraint. Once. After the loss of my job, both my parents and then dealing with medical issues (back, asthma, fat thyroid, stress, blah blah blah) and every day things I just cant keep up anymore. I am frustrated at how I look and how I feel. If I could just lose wieght and STICK TO IT (the hardest part any more) I would feel better all they way around. More confidence. Better health. I know if I lost even 15 pounds I would breathe better, my thyroid would be in better check, I would not risk being diabetic–which runs on my dad’s side, my back and hips would feel better and I would have a better outlook on how I look and feel about myself. I just need help but I dont have money. (Hello? Stress from losing a job and having to take a lower paying job to pay bills. My name isnt Paris Hilton that is for sure). So that is why I would like to win your Dec contest and if I dont, then someone else deserves it more than I. (I would be willing to share if I did win!) THank you.
Right, well I’ve only been following you for a few days but already I feel more motivated. I liked the video about the motivation ‘body parts all over the house’ thing though perhaps my husband wouldn’t agree. I am 53 years old and if you can help me you can help anybody!! Keep it up!
Thank you Scott for wanting to help us pinpoint our roadblocks to better health. I never know in what order to do the weight workouts and which workouts go best together. If I could create daily workouts with pictures (I’m a visual person) and have the workouts listed in order of what to start with and what to end with, that would be huge! I get overwhelmed with your great workouts, but thats the problem. Maybe I’m a lost cause. I keep trying though…Merry Christmas!
hi scott. well i think there is already so much information out there on diet and exercise that the problem for me isn’t knowing what to do but choosing something and sticking with it. i already exercise and eat a fairly healthy diet, but seem to fall into self-destructive patterns when i find myself finally making progress. i will slip from the gym or lose control with eating until i find myself right back where i started. i don’t have lots of weight to lose but the constant yo-yo takes such a mental toll and i know that it is very far from being conducive to a healthy lifestyle. so i think the most helpful thing for me would be information about how to successfully change and break free from those self-destructive patterns, something very powerful for use in the moment right before i’m about to sabotage all my hard work. i know about goal setting and linking my values to my goals, but something still seems to be missing because i can’t seem to change. will be looking forward to what you have to offer in regards to this! and thanks for your dedication and your passion.
what would help me the most is a daily reminder or push per se’ that would come to me each day as a reminder in email or a text to my phone that reads have you done todays workout or get your butt to the gym boy.
Hi Scott, first of all thank you so much you’ve given me some fresh new ideas for my workouts. About 3 years ago(during high school) I managed to lose 115 lbs through exercise and adopting a healthy eating lifestyle, and I have kept it off. I would like to know what workouts and exercises would benefit me if I’m trying to lose some more body fat, build more muscle, and refrain from losing lean body mass. I’ve read that doing this would help tighten up loose skin. I’ve worked so hard to tighten up the loose skin that I have now especially on my stomach. I would appreciate any input you have. Thanks so much. And to the rest of you trying to lose weight out there.. just remember anything is possible if you’re consistent and committed. If I can do it YOU can do it!
Hey Scott,
This year has been a challenging one for me and looking back on it.i realised that i was unhappy for most of the year…this was a scary realisation. Pretty much a whole year of misfortune: lost my doggy she would be 16 years now- i dont regret her dying i just miss her cause i’m so use to having her here for me), my fiancee has gotten a terrible case of cold feet and has called things off…financially things have been tough too so i cant even move out and have to coexist with him under new arrangements.i dont recommend that for even my worst enemy(if i had one) But something amazing has come out of it, while i admit i still cry everyday, i have realised that these are things that happened to me. i didnt mess up my relationship i’m still loving and patient in case he figures himself out, i didnt kill my dog,…well maybe i could’ve managed my debt better but i’m working on that part…but i did gain weight and dont have the body that i always wanted and that is something that i can control as hard as it may be. My focus has to be on making myself happy and doing and being the best that i can be. I refuse to be sad for a whole year this upcoming year and thats what will be unstoppable for me (no pun intended…well…maybe it was a little intended)i will pursue happiness and conquer my goals to have that satisfaction of knowing that i could do it.Sadness, loneliness and blows to the self esteem are the horrible reality of breakups but i can choose to handle it as well as i can on my part and ‘fix’ me…i just need your continued motivation. i love your wit and your personality and the way you have incorporated your family into your career. you may not realise it but you have helped me tremendously so far. i love your you tube videos and only hope you will make more for the New Year. Perhaps you could think of making dvds of your year long workouts-that would be awesome! If theres anyone out there who has been through hell and is tired of being sad- now is the time to change and take charge! wishing you, your family and fellow readers a truly Happy New Year
I’m not sure I know what you could do to help me (other than give out all your info for free!), but I just wanted to say that I’ve been very impressed with what I’ve seen on your site. Two years ago I decided I was tired of the 60 extra pounds I was carrying (6 pregnancies can do that to you!) and began exercising and eating 1200 calories a day. I dropped 35 pounds in 7 months, but then hit a plateau. I tried changing up my exercise, working out for 60 minutes a day 6x a week, changing what I ate, etc, to no avail. Not only did I not break the plateau but I began gaining weight. I have now regained 30 pounds. I’m really ready to start something completely new, because I STILL want to lose the weight. I think the first time around I was not eating enough calories and exercising too long. I have tried a couple of your workouts and have really enjoyed them! Thanks for sharing them for free–it helps a lot.
