Muscle Explosion Challenge Day 3

Day 3 of the Muscle Explosion Challenge was a nice break from working out. I took some time to stretch out my sore muscles and even spent some time in the jacuzzi tub. I’m eagerly awaiting tomorrow’s workout which is unlike any kind of training that I’ve ever done. I can’t wait to report on how it goes.
As for nutrition, today was a high carb day, low fat, and high protein, but still keeping my calories low. Here’s what I ate…
Breakfast: 1/2 cup oatmeal with mixed berries and Prograde Workout Recovery Mix, Prograde VGF+25 multi-vitamin, and 1 cup of coffee
Meal 2: Angie and I went out for breakfast. I had a 3 egg omelet with cheese, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions, a small portion of home fries, 1 slice of toast, and a cup of coffee.
Meal 3: Prograde Craver Meal Replacement Bar (Almond). These meal replacement bars are the best tasting bar on the planet. Plus they are 100% organic. I have hated protein bars in the past because they are nothing more than glorified chocolate bars. That was until I came across Prograde Cravers. Meal 4: Bowl of left over vegetable stew from yesterday and 1 slice of pizza.
I feel like I ate a few too many carbs today and maybe not quite enough protein, but all in all a pretty good day. The pizza slice was small and I’m pretty proud of myself for not having any more than that.
Once again I didn’t sleep very well last night. I’ll have to get that under control so I can put my body in the right environment to pack on muscle.
That’s it for today. Tomorrow is sure to offer some great insight into one wild and wicked workout that Nick has scheduled in the Muscle Explosion program for day 4. Be sure to tune in to hear how it goes.
