Muscle ExplosionDay 6 of the Muscle Explosion Challenge consisted of the ‘core combo’ training along with 15 minutes of interval training. This was exactly what my body needed today. I love the core combo routine. It includes an abdominal exercise, a lower back exercise, and a great exercise to strengthen your rotator cuff. That shoulder exercise alone has done wonders for me.

Day 6 Nutrition Plan… ALL PROTEIN!”

Having a day where all you eat is protein actually made it easy to consume fewer calories because protein is much more filling and takes longer to digest.

I actually have a harder time going without protein than I do without carbs. Here’s what I ate today…

Breakfast: 4 egg whites, Prograde VGF+25 multi-vitamin

Meal 2: 4 oz salmon

Meal 3: 4 oz chicken breast

My hammy’s are a bit sore from yesterday’s workout and my biceps are still sore from Thursday’s workout. I’m going to take some time to stretch and relax today and tomorrow.

I’m looking forward to taking my measurements after 1 week on the program. This is way too exciting!
