My Legs Are Burning!

Well, I honestly did not think that my leg/butt workout was that excruciating yesterday. I mean it was only 2 exercises…how bad could it be?! I know I was really getting a good pump during the routine but it was over so quick! I am following Nick Nilsson’s program, Gluteus to the Maximus. I am doing the Advanced 10 min. home workout. I am incorporating Nick’s routine into The Fit Chic year of workouts.
Today I woke up…and, boy, did I ever feel the tightness in my legs and butt! It feels awesome! I am really floored that I felt this way after only doing a 10 min. workout. I love this feeling.
If you are following a schedule like mine, you will have today off of the weights. I workout 3 days per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
I will do some HIIT training later on as part of my cardio. I may even have time for a walk once my children are asleep.
For breakfast I had a bowl of oatmeal, scoop of protein powder, and berries. Oatmeal is an excellent carb and a great meal for breakfast.
So how are all of you feeling today? Sore like me? What will you do for your cardio today?
Have an awesome day…
Cheers to health,
Angie

when talking about cardio, today I enjoyed cycling. The weather was favourable so I had a really good cardio exercise. It wasn’t very intensive but it took 2hours.I love long distances ,especially if I go cycling with friends. Chating makes time go very quickly
Thanks for the comment Judith
I went out on a 40 minute bike ride in the pouring rain this morning. I absolutely loved it!
I will be doing an article series on long duration cardio vs HIIT this week.
Personally, I can’t stand it when fat loss experts tell me that I will look like a frail Kenyan Marathon runner if I do long distance training. If you’ve seen my pictures, I look nothing like a marathon runner.
Too much hype and marketing in my opinion. I’d rather provide you with the solutions that you will stick with.
Enjoy those bike rides Judith!
