Stay Focused on a Plan

Hi everyone…when it comes to exercise and nutrition, there is so much information out there to make you go crazy! It’s really does make you confused when you just want to do the ‘right thing’ and there is conflicting information.

I am here to say…‘Stop reading right now!’ If you are already following a current plan and it is giving you results, I think that you should keep with your plan. The worst thing you can do is… start an exercise or nutrition plan and then 3 weeks into it, stop because you heard of something else that you want to try. How do you even really know if your current plan can work for you if you do not give it 100% effort. And I mean a full 100%.
I think we are all too quick to read the latest headline and take it to heart. Not everything you read is true. The media knows how to get your attention. Do you want some TRUTH? The truth is that if you want to maintain a healthy weight for LIFE you need BOTH a SOUND exercise and nutrition program. There is just no arguing with this.
For myself, I follow the Fit Chic program. I do 20 minute intense workouts 4X/week. Is this it, and then I’m lean and healthy? No!! I also need to do at least 4-5 days of cardio to maintain the body that I have. I do at least 2 days of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) training and then I either go for a 30 minute brisk way or I ride my bike for 30 minutes. This is a lifestyle change folks…not a quick fix. Do you want to not only look great, but feel great? Healthy eating and exercise will do this for you. You do need to commit to it though. You need to really WANT it.
Remember that what you THINK and what you FEEL and what MANIFESTS is always a match. So think about how wonderful it will feel once you have the body of your dreams…how will it feel to put on those clothes you’ve been wanting to fit into…think about how great life will be once you have more energy…what compliments you will hear…
Go after it people…you owe it to yourself!
Cheers to health,
Angie
