Barack Obama, the President of the United States, is making it to the gym 6-7X/week for 90 minutes. What a great role model. I mean he could have every excuse to not make it, but he understands the importance that physical fitness plays in his role as the leader of his country. He strongly believes that, “physical fitness yields mental fitness.” The two concepts have been married in his mind ever since says his family and friends. I, too, strongly believe that my mind is much more focused and better apt to perform mental tasks more efficiently when I workout that day. [Read more →]

Fun Family Activities And The Impact On Your Weight

Oct 22 · by Scott Tousignant

I’ll be the first to admit that simply being active with your children is not enough to get 6 pack abs. But there is no doubt in my mind that being a fun and active family plays a key role in my fat loss success. There has always been a direct correlation between my weight and the amount of physical activity that our family is involved in. I attribute this to the fun factor of fitness.

Here’s a video of a fun and active day that I recently shared with my family. You’ll crack up at the 2:44 mark in the video. You have to watch it to see what I’m talking about ;)

During this family adventure we went on a 1 mile boardwalk, hiked through the forest, rode our bikes for 3 miles, walked along the beach, climbed trees and rocks, and simply had an all around great time.

Try This Turbulence Training 6 Minute Ab Workout

Oct 14 · by Scott Tousignant

Friend and fellow fat loss expert Craig Ballantyne has really impressed me lately. He has been sharing some very effective fat loss workout videos from his Turbulence Training Program and I would like to introduce you to these workouts throughout the week and have you give them a try for yourself.

Craig BallantyneTo kick off “Craig Ballantyne Week” here at Unstoppable Fat Loss, I would like you to do this great workout for the abs that Craig has put together. As you can see from Craig’s picture he certainly knows what it takes to get a great set of abs.

Like Craig, I don’t do sit ups or crunches during my ab workouts and I don’t spend a lot of time working my abs either. If you want great abs, the majority of your success will come from a solid nutrition plan.

Life Is About Movement

Sep 23 · by Scott Tousignant

This past weekend I was a presenter at Ryan Lee’s Fitness Bootcamp which was an absolute blast. When I was up on stage in front of 300 incredible personal trainers from around the world I pulled out my flip camera and asked them one question, “If you could share one piece of advice to inspire my readers to take action, what would it be?” Chris Politi of www.themaximusmovement.com stepped up and said something so simple, yet so powerful. Watch this short video to hear what Chris had to share…

Ready To Move On!

Aug 27 · by Scott Tousignant

Hello everyone…wow, what a summer vacation! First, I cannot believe how quickly it has gone by. Secondly, I cannot believe how much I am looking forward to ‘September’ and ‘new beginnings.’

We had a few vacations planned and, yes, I did get a bit ‘too relaxed’ about my workout schedule. However, I now feel SO READY to get focused on an action plan and stick to it. I have been working out very hard following Nick Nillson’s, “Gluteus to the Maximus” program. I was also doing the Fit Chic 10 minute Express Workouts. I really noticed more muscle definition in my legs! I am getting compliments on how toned and lean they look. I love that. There are times when I think that my body is ‘used to’ being the kind of shape that it is and I’ve always found it very tough to firm up my legs. However, Nick’s INTENSE leg exercises did bring me to the next level that I needed. [Read more →]
