Hi everyone, well we have only 4 more days until our professional photo shoot! We are now getting it done on Friday March 28.

Do I recommend this is people? Oh, yeah! It’s been an awesome motivator for us and it gives you a sense of accomplishment. Having that photo will be tangible evidence that we persevered and succeeded. So, most of you are wondering, just how tough was it?

I would say that the toughest part for me was dealing with the feelings of ‘guilt’ when I would get off track with my eating. Knowing that you will be in a photo soon put more pressure on me to want to eat perfectly. However, there is no such thing as ‘perfect.’ So, therefore, I needed to learn to keep focused and positive on my journey, despite my imperfections! I am happy to say that I am still progressing!!

I am so glad that the time is closer because I feel that we are both ready.We’ve been working really hard at achieving the best body we can these past couple of months. I have NEVER missed a workout from the Fit Chic Year of Workouts program. The 20 minutes of weight training has truly given me the energy and vitality that I need to keep up with my two little ones!

I’ve even had to change my 20 minute workout to a 10 min. express workout because I am videotaping it for our customers to view the exercises visually. Even with as little as 10 minutes of weight training, I manage to exhaust my muscles and see results!

I have not weighed myself in 3 weeks. My goal is to be 14% body fat. I know that I am either there or very close to it. With the help of Jon Benson’s Every Other Day Diet program, I know that I will shed the body fat because the program is so flexible and easy to follow. The meal plan is designed so simply that choosing the foods has become habitual for me. I love this. I don’t like to think about food, I just want to eat something tasty and healthy!

This journey has made me realize that going after a goal (any goal) takes persistent, positive thinking and a rock-solid mindset. There were days that I really struggled, mentally, because I wasn’t noticing any progress. However, when I got my mind off of the thinking of ‘wanting it now…’ it was then that I was awakened to truly ’seeing’ that I did make improvements. I was just not being open enough to see them.

I am looking forward to posting to you my ‘new goals’ once our photo shoot is done. This is such an important step because you want to have the mindset of always improving and moving forward.
