Today’s Butt Workout…

Hi everyone…wow what a workout today! I did workout # 7 from Nick Nilsson’s Gluteus to the Maximus program. The #7 workout is in the 20 minute Advanced Home Workouts section. What a good one! It was 3 different leg exercises at 4 sets for each one! Wow. I was DONE after that.
So on Wednesday I will do workout # 8 and on Friday I will do workout # 9. I am just going to keep cycling through them for the next 6 weeks. I am already visibly noticing more tightness in my thighs and butt. It’s a great feeling! Oh, and as I’ve mentioned before, I am following the Fit Chic program -10 minute Express workouts. This way, I am still getting all the benefits of working out all of my muscles each week.
I just got back from my bike ride…it was great heading South, felt like a piece of cake, but was I hit with the wind on the way home! Oooops, I didn’t plan that too well. Now I really cannot walk. Time for a nice soak in the tub! If your muscles are really in agony, like mine right now, a good soak in the tub with some epsom salts will do you wonders. Stretch right afterwards.
Tomorrow, I will get up about 40 minutes early and go for a brisk walk before the kiddies get up. Later on in the day I will do some HIIT training (High Intensity Interval Training), such as biking , skipping, burpees, mountain climbers…etc. It is my day off of the weights on Tuesday and Thursday so these are days that I will do some extra cardio.
I am also following Nick’s ‘Gluteus Specialization‘ program. It only takes a few minutes in the morning and evening. Just think about how great you’ll be looking in those ’short’ shorts this summer ladies!! You CAN DO THIS! Remember, too, that Nick has different program to suit your schedule. If you can only fit in a 10 minute workout, he has this too.
What woman out there does not want firmer, lean thighs and a tighter, smaller butt!? Okay, enough thinking-that’s what I thought- There is not one! Seriously, I cannot think of any other women I know that does not complain about this ‘area’ of their body.
So take this program seriously, get the MOST out of it! Do your cardio too and follow some kind of sound nutrition program. This is your opportunity ladies to get in the best shape of your life!
