To achieve Unstoppable Fat Loss I am willing to eat clean and lean 100% of the time. I don’t miss calorie dense rubbish in my diet and I don’t feel the need to “cheat” by eating it. I absolutely enjoy oatmeal, fruit, vegetables, sweet potatoes, chicken, fish, and eggs ALL the time and find pre-cooking a weeks worth at a time a brilliant idea. I also undertake to push myself harder every workout and if necessary invent exercises to benefit my particular situation, ie Bi-lateral amputee.
Regards,
Alan.

To achieve Unstoppable Fat Loss I am willing to…
Focus on keeping a balance in my life.
Control my stress level by taking time for myself.
Encourage my family to be active with me. It is so important to set a good example for my two kids. My children believe that I am stronger than my husband.
This is so important, especially for my daughter. I want her to grow up having a good self-image and confidence.
Continue to journal my meals so I am aware of what and how much I am eating everyday.
Challenge myself physically by working out and regularly changing up my routine.
Take pride in what I have accomplished so far. (By the way, I have lost 74.4 lbs since Sept 2007. I have actually lost 90 lbs since my heaviest weight back in July 2006.)
Step out of my comfort zone and then find something else to challenge myself out of my new comfort zone. I ran a 5K for the first time ever in June. Now, I am training to do the last leg of the relay for the Detroit Freepress Marathon. My leg is 9.33 km. I have never run that far YET but I know that I will get there!!
Eat healthy, well-balanced meals, lots of fruits and veggies, lean protein and healthy fat. Drink lots of water. Limit alcohol and caffeine. Learn portion control and that satisfied feeling that says stop eating.
Plan for success. Plan my work out schedule and meals so that there is no excuse for making unhealthy choices.
Set small realistic goals. My next goal is to weigh less than my husband. I have never weighed less than him but soon I will! Reward myself for my accomplishments. Tell people about my goals, makes me accountable and tell people when I have accomplished them.
Believe in myself. I have 24 lbs more to lose to reach my goal. I know I will do it!!!

To achieve Unstoppable Fat Loss I am willing to…
Let go of the idea that I hate exercise, and would rather starve myself before I workout.
I will stop telling people how much I hate exercise, and I will stop being “proud” of the fact that I have never exercised regularly. (Pathetic, but true)
I will admit that I am completely out of shape and unable to run up even one flight of stairs without feeling winded. AND that this is not something that can be allowed to continue.
I will stop reducing my caloric intake to practically nothing to maintain my weight while maintaining my sedentary lifestyle. I admit it’s not healthy, is not a model for my daughter, and must stop today.
I will not watch the clock while exercising thinking about all the reasons I hate exercise and “How much longer” kind of thoughts that make it harder and harder with each nightly attempt at better health. (That is the four nights in a row “streak” I get going every once in a blue moon)
I will battle the inner Saboteur to regain my power to follow through and not succumb to nightly excuses of why I’m just too tired to exercise.
I will follow the program for…GULP…the entire year. No quick fix or do and ditch. It’s about life changing habits.

I don’t suppose i will get picked because i never get picked for anything but here goes anyway.I have dieted since i was thirteen been told i was fat long before that.1987 diagnosed with duodenal ulcers.I was told ‘find out what makes you sick & don’t eat it’ So began a lifetime of journey of different regimes.I did indeed lose over 7 stone on a combination W/W points,Wheat/gluten/dairy free, exercise, blood type avoidance foods to name but a few.In recent years despite still following this i have steadily gained.Yesterday a consultant said i am morbidly obese & is going to put me on the Cambridge diet with a slimming pill to start after a little while on the plan plus to go on an inhaler for asthma.I have mixed feelings about all of this about this.Apart from doctors don’t fully listen! Heyho! i suppose.Sorry to trouble you & i enjoy your posts.Glad you are all doing so well.
Thanks

Dear Scott
I am 54 years old and the last few years I have not been feeling to well. Unhealthy diet, drinking and smoking did not help. My daughter is overweight and we have started a new plan last week. I try to encourage her as much as possible, I want her to get lean and healthy, so she can have pride in herself, she has a very low self esteem. We now admitted to ourselves that we are so out of shape and we now plan our meals in advance, we do cook for at least 3 days in advance. We exercise every day. Most important, we eat healthy meals with lots of vegetables, fruit, chicken, fist, yams and sweet potatoes. I am willing to go through with this so other people can see how a healthy plan helps, to encourage them to try it too. We now try to have only positive thoughts, instead of saying o no exercise again, we say, yay, after the exercise we will feel so much better. We try to see ourselves in a few months time, healthy and fit and lean. We would love to have your fat loss programs but can’t afford it at this time as my daughter and her son are living with us. It would really help us to be able to read your books and to have your help. I have to look after my heart and health, been neglecting myself for too long now. I read your e-mails all the time and they have encouraged me to start on this diet. We just don’t know exactly how to go about the exercises. We have started a healthy program and we are feeling a bit better already and reading your mails with even more enthusiasm. Thanks for everything Scott!! You might just have saved my life!!

To achieve Unstoppable Fat Loss I am willing to eat less, exercise more and like my healthy body. I have six kids and I’m 6 kilos overwieght. I want to get back in my pre-kids body. So I’ll do whatever it takes.
July 15th, 2008 at 2:44 am
To achieve Unstoppable Fat Loss I am willing to change my ways of doing things. I will be more active and do what is necessary in the exercise and eating areas. Being 55 years old and starting to have high blood pressure is not the way that I want to go. When I was younger I belonged to a gym and loved to exercise. I can promise to do the best I can, which for me mean give 100% of what I got. With the Exchange rate is what it is for us in South Africa these programs are VERY expensive, PLEASE consider me.

To achieve Unstoppable Fat Loss I am Willing… to accept that this journey is not only about its destination. Because there is no destination. No ‘last day of workout’.
The end result is not the result, and should not be seen as the only reason of committing to it. It is about the journey, patience, belief, more patience, recognizing your own effort and results, and pushing yourself to make the effort and chase those results. I’ve found a much more enjoyable process, through challenging workouts and cautious diet, but without going clinical and without fretting over not enough results.
Basically, it is a journey without a fixed destination. It’s a lifestyle.

To achieve unstoppable fat loss, I am willing to completely rearrange my conception of life. My problems are just opportunities which are given to me to become better. So I do ! I become a better person each day, and now I understand how it can be easy, when you’re in good health like I am, to achieve an unstoppable fat loss. I really am a lucky person, and I’m grateful for that.
It’s all about belief and faith.
I know I’ve already won the battle !
Good luck everybody, be confident, be consistent, and you’ll achieve all your goals.
Peace !

To achieve Unstoppable Fat Loss, I am willing to do whatever it takes! I had an ankle injury last July, put me out of commission until November, when I finally had surgery. In mid-January, I was given the ok to restart my workouts, but by then, I was set in my sedentary ways. I really want to lose the 10 lbs. I gained in the past year, and revamp my workouts. I am anxious to get going, but not sure where to start. I need help from those who have been there. In 2005, my husband had a heart attack, and has never fully recovered his fitness level either. Both of us have been in the military, and know how it is accomplished, but need that push. We need to have a PLAN written out, an eating program that is do-able and written (spend too much time looking in the fridge and then going out) and need to make ourselves accountable to ourselves. We need to write out our goals and have others hold us responsible.

To Achieve Unstoppable Fat Loss I am willing to
- stay with a fitness lifestyle for life
- be unpopular and called a “party-pooper” because I consider water a “drink” and don’t want the alcohol
- risk being impolite by refusing desserts when I’m invited to people’s house
As far as eating clan and exercising, I do that all the time already. Goals are updated regularly. Workout routines change every 8-12 weeks. Nutrition varies slightly between carb cycling and not. I walk for about 45-50 minutes before breakfast every morning. And I inspire a lot of people on a forum I moderate, as well as helping my own on-line clients. I also support my husband in his fat-loss quest.

To acheive unstopable fat loss I am willing to learn from my mistakes and keep trying. To make such a fabulous example of myself that those around me will find inspiration to do the same and inspire others as well. To go deep beyond my own personal level of fatty comfort and dig in deep to find those bicep muscles, triceps, glutes, oh and especially each beautiful muscle surrounding the quadricep to have a ripped physique! I will listen to every inspirational word someone has to offer to get me going where I want to go! I will always charge my ipod so I will be ready to pump and work some sweat and endurance to the beat and voice of someone telling me just do it.

July 15th, 2008 at 9:31 am
To achieve unstoppable fat loss I am willing to be responsible for every single daily choice I make. From what I put in my mouth, to how I spend my time, to how I treat my family, it is up to me. Every choice I make can either help me reach closer to my goals, or leave me one step behind. When “life” happens, or “gets in the way” I will persevere, take the next step, and not live in defeat, but get moving, in victory.

Hi Scott,
To achieve unstoppable fat loss I’m willing to work through body image flaws, there are many negatives holding me back.
First, I intend to re-think & re-word the inner mindset with positivity.
Secondly, I will use different forms of healthiness from the fitness gurus like yourself.
Thirdly, I would incorporate depression & the illness of PCOD,into the program to gain more knowledge into losing weight better.
Continue being motivated & Remember never throw in the towel because anything is hard.
Lastly, I want the physique that you and your beautiful wife keep up with on a daily basis!!
Thank you for this chance to win myself back not just prizes!!!!
Warmly,
Hillary Ferkovich

I am willing to follow word by word the program and commit to it, not as a choice as a lifestyle, I really want to change my life, I want to have a full life of health being able to run and jump and my pants being to fit me, no longer overweight. I’ve been struggling with weight for all my life so I want to change that.I want to enjoy life to the fullest, go to the doctor and have a succesfull check up be healthier be able to enjoy life for the first time in my life. I want to live more and enjoy with family and being able to say that I accomplish something. So it really means a lot to me. I’ve been overweight since as a child, all the torment and life is hard. So I want to turn my life around.

To Achieve Unstoppable Fat Loss I am willing to…
Firstly, replace all my bad habits with good ones.
Face it, we’re human - creatures of habit right? - you can’t just turn off bad habits like eating nutrient dead foods and sitting on the couch watching TV, only replace those habits with good ones.
Secondly, set a goal date to reach my fat loss target, and focus my attention and my mind on what I want to look like on that day. And if I don’t get there as planned - I wont get hung up on it, I’ll reset the goal and keep moving towards it.
Thirdly, make it fun so that I don’t get bored and lose interest on the way there. Find a cardio activity that both burns fat and that I can enjoy doing - like boogie boarding or mountain bike riding.

Hi guys – thank you for so much inspiration!
To achieve unstoppable fat loss I am willing to …
1. change my life-long habit of giving up every time I start to smell success – I have been the consummate self-saboteur!
2. tell my lovable, but incessantly chattering head to SHUT UP – all day long it drivels on, dragging up an endless array of past history, re-living it, re-doing it, none of it positive – it’s so noisy in here!
3. settle on one tried-and-true method for permanent health and lifestyle changes for a measurable amount of time, instead of spending thousands of dollars on every new plan that comes out, inevitably getting bogged down in the details, and never really putting any one of them to a true test.
4. be more patient with myself, and realistic about what I can achieve – I have struggled with my weight all my life - why on earth do I think I can change it overnight, and how dare I use that as an excuse to fall off the wagon all the time.
5. take my own advice for a change – I know what to do (hell, I’ve studied it enough), and I have no problems advising anyone who will listen about what to do.
6. become a non-drinker again, and get over the need to join my husband in daily alcohol consumption, or use it as a stress reliever.
7. be a non-smoker again, and rid my life of my filthy 28-year smoking habit that is killing my efforts to go the next level, and slowly killing me.
8. get my eating pattern back on track, and cease starving myself in order to feel slim.
9. review my goals, make sure that they are what I REALLY want and why, make sure that they are REALISTIC, and that the time frame I have set is ACHIEVABLE, then read them out loud to myself and anyone else who cares to listen, at least twice a day, and do at least one thing EVERY DAY towards those goals.
10. go to the workout journal that I created ages ago, and put a start date on it, enter my training schedule, print the damned thing, and take it to the gym!
11. go back to meal planning and cooking in advance – I have a very busy stressful life – I need to be organized.
12. get over my current addiction to milk chocolate – I don’t even enjoy it like I used to when it was just a treat.
13. keep helping other people who want to achieve their health and fitness goals, and be a real-life WORKING INSPIRATION to them, and my family.
14. fulfill my true potential.
15. be the stunning woman I have been so afraid that I am - damn, I’ll do anything for that!
Help me make it happen, and make me accountable!
Thanks
Sharon

To achieve unstoppable fat loss I am willing to change the habits of a life time by
1) not hitting the snooze button 3 times or more and actually get out of bed for my morning cardio
2) not waiting until next week to start exercising and monitoring what I eat
3) not wait until next week to have that last glass of wine
4) not giving up my routine after 4 weeks
5) telling friends that I am committed to achieving my fat loss goal
6) surrounding my workout area with motivations, inspirations and goals
In the past 5 years I have attempted 5 weight loss programs and succeeded in only 1 - the first one. I know what I have to do and have no problem advising others how to achieve fat loss but practicing what I preach has not been my strong point. I am sick of it and I know the only way I can achieve unstoppable fat loss is to change the way I think about it. As Mario said it is all about the journey as there really is no destination. I believe we have stop off points where you look back and assess what you have achieved to give you the motivation to keep going.
That is how I am going to achieve unstoppable fat loss and I am starting NOW.
July 17th, 2008 at 7:48 am
To acheive unstoppable fat loss I am willing to put myself first. I can’t truly be there for anyone else if I am not feeling my best. I am willing to be true to my ideals and stop lying to myself about the impacts of a little taste of “this” or a little bite of “that”. I will write down my workout and nutrition plan so that I can focus my best efforts on today and what I need to do at this moment. I will not give in to the temptation to worry about tomorrow and the next day and the next day.

To achieve Unstoppable Fat Loss I am willing to do:
1. Get back to a full 5 mile Orchard walk per day.
2. Slow down on the Ice cream to twice weekly.
3. Don’t use all the Auto-irrigators for the Garden
and do more fill-carry-pour form watering can.
I am now walking approx 2 miles daily in Garden alone back and forth. So I will be upping that another 1/2 mile

To achieve unstoppable fat loss I am willing to do what works. I have tried it all and I have ballooned up to my highest weight ever. I have been extremely active my whole life. I cycle, run, walk, weight train, swim, do yoga, meditate, golf, you name it, I do it and still I struggle with my weight. I have currently lost 25 pounds in a very sensible fashion but I know I could be doing more. I need assistance and this would really help.

To achieve unstoppable fatloss I am willing to do what is necessary. I will keep my eating clean, I will keep my calories in control and I will get in my exercise.
I will log my meals, I will do everything in my power to keep this ball rolling. 35 pounds are gone and I have maintained that, it’s time to get the other 77 pounds off and make goal.
I am willing to give up eating sweetened chocolate… and that’s a BIG sacrifice… I love my dark chocolate! But it is a weakness I can’t indulge in now. I set a goal for myself of making 200 pounds by January 1, 2009… and chocolate isn’t helping. It’s too easy to indulge in “just one more square”.
Most of all, I’m willing to have and FOLLOW a battle plan each and every day. No more procrastinating!

I’ve been pondering that question all week. What am I willing to do to achieve unstoppable fat loss? I was thinking of how I start out strong with things, but then I stop when the going gets tough.
I was also thinking about my jelly belly. I’m basically happy with the rest of my body except I am not toned. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad I have a jelly belly because I have 3 children, 2 here on Earth and 1 in Heaven who have given me my jelly belly. However, it would be nice not to have it.
Then mid-week, I was hit with terrible news. My friend’s step-Mom, Betty, was killed in a car accident. She was only 56. I attended the funeral yesterday and my friend showed me her Dad and step-Mom’s house. There were notes everywhere from her step-Mom. One note read, “Talk less, listen more”. That is an inspiration to me.
I learned from her funeral and her home that she exercised all the time and was very serious about eating healthy. She had a home gym in her basement where she exercised every morning while she prayed for her family and friends.
So, I found my answer to the question, “What am I willing to do to achieve unstoppable fat loss?”
I am willing to exercise every morning while praying for my family and friends.
I am willing to make healthy meals for myself and my family because sometimes life is too short.
I am willing to “talk less and listen more”.
I want my family to hold me accountable, but also join me in my quest.
I am willing. Betty was willing to touch people’s lives and inspire them and I want to too!

To achieve Unstoppabel fat loss I am willing to:
Get enough sleep every day by abstaining from TV-watching.
Eat sufficiently often so I can abstain from chocklat and other sweet and sugar ladden products.
Feel (ie acknowledge and seek for) when I start to get content and stop eating before I fell stuffed.
Up untill my vacation I did these things and lost weight at a pace of more than a ½kg per week. During the vacation I neither gained nor lost as I didn’t followed these simple guide-lines. Back to work and back to order, it feels good.
