What Is Your Fat Loss Driving Force?

Recently I have heard some pretty incredible success stories. Some from average people that have lost over 100 pounds, others from people that accomplished peak physical condition even though they have a disability, and another about an incredible man that lost a significant amount of weight when it wasn’t even his original intent.
Team Hoyt - Be Inspired!
As a parent I know I would do anything for my child. In this story the father Dick, did something very special for his son Rick and indirectly improved his own health dramatically which in turn saved his own life.
This story goes to show that your goal may not necessarily have to be achieving a certain body weight or fat percentage. By having a goal completely different and being passionate about it and having fitness as a part of it can be just as powerful.
The beautiful thing is that they have not stopped. They are enjoying the journey. They are taking it all in and appreciating every moment. They see a new challenge and they take it on together.
To hear his son say “Dad, when we were running I didn’t feel disabled any more” is a driving force that nothing could stand in it’s way. I know as a father I would never want to stop running because I knew the joy it brought to my child.
Now I want you to think about this for a second. Their journey began with the parents believing and feeling that their son was more than what the doctors thought. They didn’t listen to the negative.
Those feelings helped get the attention of the doctors which led to Rick being able to communicate with the world. The feeling of not being disabled and the joy that came with it became contagious. It lead to more marathons (24) and finishing in the top 25 percent, and then conquering some grueling triathlons together.
Each event brought on more feelings of joy and gratitude. Their focus is on the positive. I love hearing in the second video that not once did Rick ever ask “why me?” How many times do we find ourselves asking that question. “Why am I overweight? Why am I addicted to candy bars? Why was I born with bad genetics and inherited my mom’s thighs? Why do I find it so difficult to exercise and eat right?”
All those questions. What separates Dick and Rick from at least 95% of the population is that they don’t ask. They know they can do it and they just go out and do it.
Anything, and I do mean anything is 100% possible. It’s time that we stop limiting ourselves and aim for our true potential.
You deserve to be living in your dream body, to be healthy, and to have whatever you wish for. You just need to accept the fact that you can have it.
You WILL have it!!!!
There is a huge difference between saying to yourself that you CAN accomplish something and thinking to yourself that you can’t do something.
If your thoughts are filled with the image and feelings of achieving your goal and you believe that you can do it, your chances of reaching that goal or at least coming close to it are really good.
On the other hand if you allow thoughts of doubt to creep into your head and you don’t believe that you can achieve it, I am 100% certain that you will not achieve it.
I CAN is a very powerful short sentence that can change your life.
What is holding you back from achieving your dreams?
If Dick Hoyt can complete a triathlon while pulling his son in a dingy and pushing him while running, and riding his bike with his son Rick in a seat at the front of his bike, all while passing several other competitor, what is holding you back from doing it on your own?
A large part of it comes down to your powerful reason why you want to accomplish a goal. The desire that Dick has for wanting to see his son accomplish a goal of completing a marathon was greater than anything else in the world. It was his initial driving force.
But I believe it was the feelings of joy that it brings to the both of them and their constant focus on those feelings that continues to attract more joy and improved health into their lives.
Please take a moment to comment on your thoughts and feelings. What is holding you back from achieving your dream body? Does it seem so difficult now?
You should never let anything get in the way of your dreams. They can come true and they will!
YOUR DREAM BODY AWAITS YOU…
