Hello everyone and thank you so much for all of your kind words and support! I still cannot believe that we DID IT!! It’s been an incredible journey so far…doing this kind of body transformation is so rewarding. I recommend it to everyone. You really get to know your own strengths and weaknesses.

WHY I DID THE TRANSFORMATION?

Some of you may be wondering why I wanted to shed more body fat. Some of you may think that I was already lean enough. The reason that I did this was because:

-I cannot eat the junk that I used to be able to ‘get away with’ without packing on the pounds
- To FEEL better and INCREASE my ENERGY
- To prove that I could chooseHEALTHIER FOODS each day
- To treat my body with the respect that it deserves
- To live each day to the fullest

I knew before this transformation that I was not happy about all of the high sugar foods I was consuming. I just knew that there was a way to FEEL more ENERGETIC and I was sick of always feeling sluggish in the mid afternoon. I wanted more CLARITY and FOCUS to get more accomplished each day.

Eating healthier foods was the key for me. When I decided to follow Jon Benson’s Every Other Day Diet, I began to feel more energetic throughout the day instead of having my highs and lows. I still ‘treated’ myself to a cheat meal every third day. I found that this worked the best for me. I did not want to feel deprived of anything and I learned that ‘wanting to eat a certain food‘ is so psychologically based. You may want that cookie because you are craving sugar. However, having a bowl of strawberries available will make you FEEL just as satisfied on a physiological level. We are just so quick to grab the cookie because it is easier.

This transformation was NOT about: starvation, a quick fix, or the sole purpose of vanity.

When you are ready to take ACTION and treat your body the way that it deserves to be treated…nothing should stop you. Do not let other people rob you of your burning desire to make the needed changes. They have their own ‘corrupted’ thinking. Stay focused and surround yourself with the people that will support you on your journey and encourage you to always improve.

WHY AM I SAYING THIS?

Since I have posted my pictures, I have had some people that are VERY CLOSE to me say things such as: “So now you can put some weight on again?” “Well, you are looking too thin you know” and “Is this your new thing now?”

I have to admit that I did let the comments bother me. Then it dawned on me that, “Hey, I am inspiring people! I am teaching others to treat their bodies in the most healthy way. I am helping so many people out there to FEEL GREAT each and every day.” How can this be such a terrible thing? Well, obviously, I know it’s not. However, I did get shaken for a second with the negative comments. I just didn’t expect it.

These comments only STRENGTHENED my purpose. I want everyone to feel like I do! It’s so awesome to eat healthy and exercise and be REWARDED with the FEELINGS of clarity, energy, confidence, and happiness. I love it.
