Jan 06

Remember when you first got married and had so much time together? Dinner dates, long walks, and intimate getaways?

Then the children came…how can a tiny, precious, 7lb bundle of joy upturn your entire life? Too easily.

Children, career, and extra-curricular activities will often leave you and your partner (spouse) completely exhausted by the end of the day. The last thing you likely feel like doing is working out. Do you have anything left to really GIVE of yourself? [Read more →]

Make Your New Year’s Resolutions TOGETHER

Filed Under: Fat Loss Mindset · Fat Loss Motivation

Dec 22

Have you thought about your New Year’s Resolutions yet? Most people have some intention of trying to get healthier in the next year. The problem is that their plan is not very specific and it lacks the compelling reasons WHY they want to be in better shape. If you fall into the category of going all out come Jan 1 - working out 5 days/week, eating well, feeling great, only to wake up one morning with enough motivation to shut off the alarm clock, you definitely need to dig deeper into why you want to lose the weight and come up with a long term plan.

Do you find you are mostly on your own when it comes to eating healthy and having intentions of losing weight? Is your partner overweight, yet doing nothing about it? Are you the only one in your household enjoying large salads, nuts, and fresh fruit and berries? [Read more →]

Quality Time AND A Workout?

Filed Under: Fat Loss Exercise · Fat Loss Motivation

Dec 19

If you are like the majority of people in this world, you often complain that you have ‘NO TIME!‘ Between your career, spending time with your kids, housework, and extra-curricular activities…this leaves you little time to just sit and ‘vegge out’ with your partner or just relax by yourself!

Then there is your health. You know that you should be exercising. You know that it will make you feel better. You know that you’ve put on some extra pounds and with the holidays fast approaching, you don’t want to put on any more weight. You’re stress out because you feel you cannot meet all of the above demands…so how can you ever find the time to workout? [Read more →]

Tips To Help Alleviate Back Pain

Filed Under: Fat Loss Exercise · Muscle Building Workouts

Dec 14

If you have a job that requires you to sit all day…watch out, you will be more at risk of back pain from sitting too much.

Stuart McGill is a researcher and expert in spine biomechanics from the University of Waterloo. He states that, “Back pain is usually caused by the things you’ve done and not done. Unless your back pain is related to a specific injury, chances are your back health has been deteriorating slowly and steadily over time.” [Read more →]

Fat Loss Video Broadcast with Jon Benson

Filed Under: Fat Loss Exercise · Fat Loss Motivation · Fat Loss Nutrition

Dec 11

I’m totally psyched to do my first live video broadcast tonight at 9pm EST and even more excited about the guest expert who will be sharing the spotlight with Angie and I. Jon Benson with be helping us answer some of your most pressing fat loss questions that you have been sending in. You can watch the broadcast live or view the recording at Unstoppable Fat Loss Live with Jon Benson.

If you are joining us live there is a chat box where you can have a back and forth conversation with us. I’m really interested to see what you think about the live video broadcast and if you find it any more helpful than webcasts or the traditional teleseminars that you may have been a part of.

The thing that I like about the video broadcast is that I can demonstrate an exercise or movement and you can visually see it, rather than me trying to explain it over the phone.

We are really looking forward to answering your questions tonight and plan on doing many more of these live video broadcasts to deliver the best possible quality information to you.

Have an absolutely amazing day!

What Does ‘Exercise’ Mean To You?

Nov 20

I’ve read a very intriguing article today that I wanted to summarize for you. Basically people need to expand their thoughts surrounding exercise to include the tasks that involve movement on a daily basis. Exercise should not be narrowly viewed as that ‘time slot’ at the gym or your early walk in the morning. People really need to look at ways to incorporate more ‘movement’ into their everyday routines. Did you know that in the last 150 years the average amount of calories burned on a daily basis from walking, working, playing, and fidgeting is down by 2,000? This is a staggering number! Why do you think this is? [Read more →]
